Family Photo
The family photo, Christmas 2005. Oh how those kids have grown!
Golf with Sandra Day and John O'Connor
On a recent trip to Phoenix Arizona, Jim and his wife Pam took time out for a game of golf with their friends, John and Sandra Day O'Connor.
The pond behind the stage at the Colorado River State Park in Fruita looked soooo inviting.
The temperature at the start of the show was over 100 degrees!
Denny Books sings a great rendition of "Me and My Uncle" while Jim and Pete look on.
A beautiful sunset brought "cooler" temperatures.
Gunnison Band
Denny Brooks, on guitar and vocals, Brian McRae, on drums, Pete Huttlinger on guitar and Matt Montgomery on guitar and fiddle joined Jim in Gunnison, Colorado for a benefit concert for The Gunnison Area Community Foundation. An auction was held during the show and the winner, Pat Montgomery, got to sing "Country Roads" with the band.
Country Roads
Also a tradition, Jim and his friends playing at Frisco for their 4th of July celebrations. So Jim, Pete and Matt were joined by Chris Engleman on bass and Steve Ivy for the afternoon show.
Teddy Bear Concert
It wouldn't be 4th of July without the traditional Teddy Bear Concert at the Healy House in Leadville. This year Pete Huttlinger and Matt Montgomery joined Jim for the celebrations. Kids, teddy bears, pop sickles and oh what a view!
Mack, Jim and Pete
On June 30th and July 1st, Jim and his friends, Pete Huttlinger on guitar and vocals, Mack Bailey on vocals and guitar, Matt Montgomery on fiddle, Rich Lamb on bass and Steve Ivy on drums started a series of concerts in Silverthorne and Breckenridge. The shows benefited the Summit Medical Emergency Fund and the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC).

Earlier this year, Jim and Pete recorded a CD together called "Two Friends~Two Guitars, Some Favorite John Denver Songs" and during the shows they did several songs from the CD. Notice Jim concentrating! In a fun twist, Jim plays the lead on "Late Winter, Early Spring", while Pete plays the melody.
Late Winter, Early Sprnig

In February Jim, and his wife Pam, had the opportunity to travel to Ireland. It was a chance to see old friends while planning an upcoming tour of lighthouses, castles and concerts for September.
