On
November 7, 2001 Jim performed his new patriotic song "We are
Americans - We Want the World to Live In Peace" at the Best
Friends “For Our Children” event at the Bertie Backus
Middle School in Washington D.C. The school lost several students
and teachers on September 11th. |

On
June 24th, 2001, Jim gave a sold out benefit
concert for the John Novotny Family and the
John Novotny Memorial Fund. John Novotny lost
his long battle with cancer on April 18th.
