Jim, I met your parents at First Lutheran in Kearney, and your brother at KSC/UNK, and saw you perform several times in the 90's in the Kearney area. I moved to Colorado a few years ago, and always wondered what you were doing...I found the Timberline album last week in Fort Collins, and it sounds amazing. I appreciate how your music and energy touch the people you play for. You are an inspiration.

It's been a long time and a lot of miles since I was a student at Kearney State but I still hold some great memories of listening to your music and catching a Timberline concert or two. Now that I have found your website I can finally replace that album I managed to scratch so many years ago and have not been able to replace until now. I am still in touch with a few of my old college friends and will certainly share my luck with them so they too can remember and reminisce of some of the good times. Glad to see you carried on with your music and I look forward to checking out. Good Luck and take care.

Been following your shows in Summit since the Whale's Tail Days in Breck. Interesting to see you are now doing songs with Susie Boguss. When I first moved to Sarasota Florida, her husband's dad was my first real friend in high school. Look forward to the Aspen show this year.

Hi Jim, I was making a special Valentines gift for my wife, which entailed lyrics etc from some of your fantastic music. We have been fans of your talent for many years since we first encountered you on our honeymoon in Breckenridge in 1999/2000. We wandered into The Wellington Inn for some wine and to listen to the music that we could hear resonating into the street as we passed by...you actually dedicated Queen Anne's Lace to us on that evening after we briefly spoke with you. Since then your music has been a large part of our relationship, and I just wanted to take the opportunity to say hello to you, and thank you for being a part of our many wonderful years together (thus far). Hopefully you will make it back to Florida again some day; however, we are possibly due back in Colorado the latter part of this year, so maybe we will be able to catch one of your shows. Take care, and thank you for allowing us all to be a part of your music. Tony and Sarah McLendon

Hello, Jim! My friends and I just saw you in Minden, NE, and enjoyed your concert immensely. I'm hooked on Bristlecone Pine and have played that CD over and over, but can't quite figure out the chords. We've checked for Hugh Prestwood on line, but couldn't find a source that would allow us to buy sheet music for the song. Can you direct us to a source to buy the sheet music? Thanks very much, Jim, and take care. Martha Tacha

Hi Jim, Just thought I would pop in and say hi. I met you back when I was going to school in Denver at the Colorado Institute of Art and had Dugg Duggan as a teacher. I actually did a feature story on you when I worked at CBS in my hometown of Hays, Kansas back in 1994/95 when you came to Fort Hays State University and played at a little place called "The Backdoor!" Anyway, hope all is well and if you still run into Dugg, tell him and old student from Kansas says hi!!! Take care and God bless! Jeff D. Durall Hays, Kansas
